After a cracking start to 2017, Prime Retail secured fourth place for acquisitions in CoStar’s latest league table for single branch investment agents.
This is one place higher than the equivalent table a year ago which Prime Retail contributed to for the first time.
The firm acted on acquisitions totalling £73m in the first three months of this year, a significant proportion of which were off-market. The overall volume of deals among the most active agents was generally a little lower than the first quarter of 2016.
Among Prime Retail’s key acquisitions this year are a Mecca Bingo Hall in Luton for AEW, a new M&S Foodhall in Exmouth for Knight Frank Investment Management and four retail investments, totalling £20m, for a JV between a private property company and a major UK property fund.
